Claire joined Novalex in 2023 after practising as an associate in a reputable boutique litigation law firm.
Claire is a lawyer in our civil and commercial litigation group. She represents and advises clients in various types of litigation, including commercial and contractual law, shareholder disputes, class actions, product liability and extraordinary remedies such as injunctions, safeguard orders and seizures before judgment.
In 2022, she single-handedly completed the Scottish National Trail, a hike of almost 1,000 km that covers Scotland, from the English border to the northwest.
Intellectual curiosity drives Claire to scrutinize with great attention the legal issues she faces. The pleasure of teamwork is also at the heart of her daily practice.

Claire has notably:
ACTED as first chair in a contractual dispute over the production of a website and mobile application, bringing the entire case to a successful conclusion;
ACTED for a software company in a shareholder dispute;
ACHIEVED shared custody (50-50) for a child born to a surrogate mother whose intended mother was not listed on the birth certificate;
PREPARED proceedings before the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court and the Disciplinary Board of the Quebec Bar;
OBTAINED the revocation of a judgment on the grounds of professional negligence on the part of the previous lawyer;
PLEADED the lack of confidentiality between Ville de Montréal and the Office of the Inspector General in connection with Formula E litigation successfully.
