Vivianne joined Novalex in the summer of 2021 after having practiced in real estate and transactional law for nearly 10 years at the montreal office of a top tier national law firm, as well as for real estate developers and property managers.
Throughout the course of her career, Vivianne has represented many high profile private and institutional lenders, as well as real estate owners, developers and managers in a wide range of practice areas including financing, acquisitions, dispositions, development, co-ownerships, partnerships, construction and leasing.
In working as an in-house legal director, Vivianne took the lead on all legal aspects of major real estate developments in Quebec, overseeing both real estate and commercial law issues. She has gained extensive knowledge of many aspects surrounding real estate development including regulatory compliance, corporate governance and risk management.
Her experience in both private practice and as an in-house counsel has equipped Vivianne with a keen business acumen, a deep understanding of clients’ needs and an ease in simplifying concepts and delivering knowledge. Her approach is one of value-added legal advice that mitigates risks and enables efficient deals for all parties.

- Led the acquisition financings for the Royalmount real estate project
- Lead all legal aspects of the development and management of the Four Seasons Montreal complex, a high-end hotel, residential and retail development
- Acted for lenders in various real estate construction and long term financings of more than $100M each
- Advised a real estate developer on the starting-up of a construction company, including setting up its corporate structure, obtaining the required licenses and drafting its construction and service contracts
